Sensei Dan Dugan 50 years of training
May 7th 2022, the large community room area at Guest House Coffee and Pastries was filled throughout the afternoon as dozens of friends, family, past and present students came to celebrate the 50-year career of Sensei Dan Dugan in the art of Yoshukai Karate.

Yoshukai Karate Alliance 10th Anniversary
June 25th, 2012 Yoshukai Karate Alliance had their summer day camp at Kickapoo Creek Park. At this year’s event the alliance had many things to celebrate. First, this is the 10th year of the alliance, begun in 2002 by Sensei Dan Dugan. Secondly, this is the 40th year that Dugan has been studying the art of Japanese karate. And, finally it was a celebration of survival and recovery for Dugan, as he is now back to very nearly 100 percent, after a terrible accident in October of 2010.

July 10th, 2010: Dan Dugan by day is a union bricklayer, working long, hard hours that would exhaust most 30-year-olds, but at 58 years of age, he is in better health, with more stamina than most people half his age.
