Becoming a Black Belt is the realization of a long time goal...

I had wanted to participate in karate from a very young age, and this is now the fulfillment of that desire.

In this world of instant gratification the journey to become a Black Belt is long and arduous.

The time spent attaining this goal have made the fruits of my labor ever so sweet.

You must have the desire and fortitude to overcome many obstacles in your way.

I have learned patience, respect, honor and the history of this sport. Becoming a Black Belt is a accumulation of all things thus far. So as I am at the apex of my training I am just beginning the journey to become better. As Ben Franklin so eloquently put it "Without pain there is no gain".
